Something Walking.
Crafted in copper, this elliptical center table is a play of form and proportions visually dynamic reminiscent of ‘something walking’. The legs, angled lingams protruding above can be alternatively purposed as vases to account for the addition of planters from within. Functional yet interactive, this sculpture is hand molded to perfection - a table of multiple perspectives.

Process.
Something Walking N2 is an iteration of an existing piece at the Atelier - Something Walking N1. It is a center table designed to infuse life into an inanimate object. Additionally, vases are carved within the table to introduce elements that offer a unique experience to each user. Each leg of the table is an angled lingam, a form unique to Indian geometry and a representation of Lord Shiva, which lies at the core of the Atelier’s design philosophy. The design process started with a concept discussed during our regular sessions at the atelier. Originating as a custom piece for an interior project of Ashiesh’s, Copper was chosen as the material for this piece to unify the room for the project.
